When I was a boy we didn't have ADHD, we just had boys, some of whom were more energetic than others. I've thought a lot of this diagnosis was PADD - parental attention deficit disorder. It's interesting to see an undeniable set of stats like this that transcend parenting styles.

I think this is a very natural outcome from the fact that children are enrolled to school at different ages by their birth month. There should be little difference between childs born at december and a month later at january, but because they normally get assigned to different classes, it can determine how they perform at the rest of their lives.

That would make sense if the cutoff dates weren't almost invariably in the summer or early fall, not Dec/Jan. http://ecs.force....p=Kq1402
